Early 18th century oak side table. Japanese surviving from circa 1860I love the baluster turned and block legs and turned feet that haven't been shortened, the peg joints (that also protrude on the inside as they should), the correct rough front to back drawer lining, the original handle, no dodgy repairs (except the canvas tape on one side of the drawer of course, which I dont mind at the mo, but I might restore), the colour, the rough dovetail joints to the drawers, etc. it looks like it hasn't been messed around
