床に敷いても、立礼の茶席でも、唯一無二の茶炉となると思います。

二重に立ち上がる口ぶちの造り、胴の整形や首と胴の指跡などは、古瀬戸の水注と非常によく似た造りです。また、持ち手も古瀬戸に見られる特徴が一貫してあります。水をかけると強い土器臭が立ち上がります。
